About the extraordinary life of a color
revolutionary., March 25, 1999
Reviewer: designbyjamie from Seattle, USA
Color Me Healing is a beautifully written book about the
extraordinary life of the founder of a revolutionary
color healing method, Peter Mandel. Mandel is definitely
a genius. I know because I worked with him on and off,
learning his color therapy and kirlian diagnostic
topography for about 4 years, between 1990-94 in Europe
and also India. It's well worth reading for anyone,
particularly those who believe in, or are looking for a
way towards taking more personal control over their
health, and ultimately their destiny.

Light and Color Can Heal
This book provides practitioners of classical acupuncture
with the opportunity to gain theoretical and practical
access to a safe and efficient therapy. This gentle and
pain-free form of acupuncture makes it particularly
suitable for use with children. It can be carried out
easily and precisely due to the development of the
pyramid focus tip which directs colored light to
acupuncture points. Peter Mandel, a German acupuncturist,
founded the Institute for Energetic Photography and
Colorpuncture (now "Mandel Institute for Esogetic
Medicine") in 1975.

Best book that I have read this year,

This is an eye opening book. Best book that I have read
this year. The light that enters your eyes travels by way
of the optic nerve to the visual cortex of the brain to
be further interpreted but the optic nerve also branches
off into.......the hypothalmus, the pineal gland, the
pituitary gland. Light, sunlight, phototherapy can change
the function of all endocrine glands [chakras] Have you
thought lately about the sun..... and that the sunlight
entering your eyes randomly or intentionally could change
your outlook or better your health? Thanks Dan Holly.

If you want to know if light really works, look at the
results from folks who use light. I use light. I use
light, I carry one with me when I travel. The book Light
Years Ahead really works - it is a guide for motivating
the use of healing information in your own life. I
believe this book makes Light Therapy accessible in a
practical way for the layperson and professional alike.

Book Description
Use your own camera to take Kirlian photographs
Electrophotography, commonly called Kirlian photography,
remains a subject of speculation and controversy almost
150 years after its discovery. Many people maintain that
the study of Kirlian photographs can detect illness in
plants and animals before any outward symptoms
materialize. Whatever its validity, Kirlian phenomena
fascinates many in the fields of science and art.
In Kirlian Photography, John Iovine gives you all the
hands-on guidance you need to produce Kirlian photographs
using a standard 35mm or video cameras. You'll also learn
about the history of electrophotography and many of its
possible applications in medicine, industry, and the
military. Especially illuminating is his discussion of
the "phantom leaf" aura that continues to
baffle scientists.
Includes complete plans and instructions for building low-cost
electrophotography equipment.
